Ground Force 2. (The Sequel - Mucky muck muck)

This morning Mark and Paul came round to tackle some more of the garden.
This is what it looked like 1st thing.

Mark was on digger duty and Paul and me were carting the soil around the garden. I have no idea how many tons we moved... But it was loads...

After gobbling up some more of the bank Mark brought the digger down the ramp at this point Paul and me stood well clear camera's poised for that Youv'e Been Framed moment when the digger hit the house!!

Once it was down we formed the patio area and banks and then had great fun watching Mark try and get it back out!!

At that point Mark had to bail and I took over on the machine whilst Paul carried on "humpin and a shiftin"

Finally having levelled most places up we called it a day...

This is how it looked when we finished..

Ground Force!

Over the weekend myself and Mark commenced operation back garden!! Having put up with a garden like a safari park with wild antelope running round for the past year, I felt it was finally time to sort it...

So armed with a digger work commenced..

It's coming along quite nicely apart from the Cherry tree which is not overly keen on coming out...

The tree did eventually give up on Tuesday!! and it's looking better already!
More to follow after this weekends shift...

Flags On Cars (Mark 2)

I think we should develop the theme of the flags on cars by going for the most decorated houses!! I've seen some crackers when Ive been driving around...
Why do people do it?

Hannibal's Back On The Jazz..

Derbyshire Part One

For those of you that dont know we have just got back from a week in Derbyshire... We stayed in a village called Eyam (pronounced Eeem). It is where the plague started!!!

The place we stayed was called the Bolt and was part of the Old Silk Mill. It was huge inside and really nicely finished...

The kitchen was fitted with a massive stainless oven... If only it had all worked!! (ask Dot!!)

The view out of the window was quite good as well...

As you can see Mum and Dad joined us for the weekend.
Dad and his new car!!

Dad took us all out for a meal on the
saturday night. Me, Keith and
Dad all had the lamb shank..

Its really hard to believe that you get this from these cute little fellows!! Yum Yum!!

Then it was back to the Bolt for some hard core Uno Extreme action.... (Rock On! Check out the mid flight cards!!)

More to follow soon!!
